Golden Biscuits

 

Golden Biscuits

10 ozs Self Raising Flour
8 ozs Margarine (e.g. Stork)
8 ozs Sugar
2 desert spoons of Golden Syrup (Tip Heat desert spoon in cup of very hot weather and scoop 2 rounded desert spoons from the tin of syrup)
2 heaped teaspoons of Bicarbonate of Soda

Put sugar, margarine and syrup in a pan and melt gently. Once melted, away from heat, stir in the dry ingredients.

Put teaspoonfuls of the mixture a little apart on a baking sheet. Put in oven at 180until golden.
